DC Armory Series 1: Batman
My most recent purchase, this DC Armory Series 1: Batman, was indeed, a great purchase. The packaging for this particular figure is incredible looking, and while the figure is packed very tightly, it was still very easy to get out.
I'm a huge fan of multiple points of articulation, and based on my count, this figure has around 17 points of articulation. It has a cut neck, ball joint shoulders, pegged biceps and hands, single pin arms, legs and feet with ball joint hips. Not as many points of articulation as the Marvel Legends line, but a good amount at the right places makes up for it in the end.
As usual the paint is top-notch, I have come to expect this from DC figures and they certainly don't disappoint with this one.
When it comes to accessories this Batman comes with two helmets, both look similar, except one has some "battle damage" on it. And like all DC Armory figures, Batman comes with a very cool "Armory" stand to be displayed upon.
Something I discovered is that the panel plates on this chest and his shoulders have a semi- movement to them. Very cool little addition.
One of the things that I don't like is how the shoulder pads, though they do move, they give Mr. DC Armory Batman limited movement when trying to move his arms up. Also, I didn't really like how both his hands are just wide open with no articulation. Not a big deal, though.
Overall, DC Armory Series 1: Batman is yet another awesome figure to add to your collection and is priced at $14.99 in most stores.
